EXPOSED: Astroturfed Teabaggers PAID TO TROLL liberals online to enforce corporate propaganda

“I’m paid to post DIS-information online.”

Couple of good articles on why you often see so much online political chatter being derailed by so many people saying the same things: they're being paid to do it.

Why pay people to put stupidity online when so many are already giving it away for free?

I liked the Yahoo Answers folk who parroted Beck with the Florida Shooter was from Media Matters. The questions were identical.

Oh, and the article was interesting. The Tea Party doesn't pay well, yet it also said that he made $5K off of them. Tom, you could make good money, if you had no ethics, scruples or morals!

I've run into this so often. You're on a thread or chat room talking about say, a fire, when suddenly the whole thing is hijacked by a bunch of guys who challenge the accepted definition of "building." even if you win, they've managed to derail the conversation into pointlessness.

There are guys like that on Wikipedia. One guy screamed bloody murder when I quoted the Knoxville Shooter's expressed desire to kill the 100 People in Bernie Goldberg's book. None of his arguments made any sense, but he succeeded in getting the quote wiped in a compromise. Now it's back, but only as a paraphrase.

Another guy protested the Wikipedia article on the pejorative term "Democrat Party" by claiming that the New Yorker shouldn't be used as a source because it's "a light humor magazine."
